Zane gets fussy about the same time every morning. Usually 9:15. It starts off as a little whine and is pretty much constant until you pick him up. He loves cuddles especially when he's tired. We've started a little routine where I ready him four or five books before he goes to sleep for his morning nap. Jeff took a picture of us and then I took them as our reading time progressed. :-) Zane loves being held and read to and is usually pretty content during this time. I mean, what can beat cuddles with mama, a blanket, and a thumb to suck on?

I really love my reading time with Zane. It is so much fun to read books to him and know that he is soaking in every word and picture. For Christmas he got four new books and I enjoyed reading them as much as he enjoyed listening.
Awww, I love little routines with the bebes. When Lily was just barely walking, I would sit on the bottom step, and read her The Pumpkin Patch Parable and let her take bites of a cereal bar before her morning nap. You're making wonderful happy memories!
