He Gave Me A Song

I wish I had gotten the beginning!

I can't remember if I posted this one. So here it is again!

Rachel Videos

Pics of Kids

These cuties are doing great although Rachel has a cough right now.  Hopefully it will get better soon and she doesn't have fever, so that's great!
num, num!

Sweet morning glory!

:)

He's a great big brother!!!
Zane's talking is just hilarious.  He's talking so well.  I had him sitting on the toilet trying to go poop and he said, "It's a terrible plight."  hahahahahahaha!!!!  It was so funny.  He got "terrible plight" from a book about Jonah and I guess he decided that having to sit on the toilet was as bad as getting swallowed by a big fish!

Today for lunch I asked him if he wanted ham or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Thinking he'd choose pb and j I was surprised that he wanted ham.  So then I asked, "Do you want dijon mustard, mayonnaise on it, or plain,"  He replied, "Ketchup."  ( He didn't get ketchup.) Then, I asked him if he wanted cheese.  "Yes....actually, no, I don't want cheese."  hahahaha! He's quite the conversationalist.

My fam.

And a good family at that-I was making them watch me iron!  I wanted company!  haha!

After worship on Sunday

Putting the rocks back where they belong.

It's bright, Mommy.

I wanted a picture anyway!

As you can see, it didn't turn out as well as Daddy's and Rachel's!!!  :)  :)  :)

Mmmm, Butternut Squash

Butternut squash is a fave!

Outside Pictures

I always get a little antsy when I plant things because I'm afraid they are going to die!  Here are some pictures of new growth on our plants.  I am thrilled!  These were taken over the last couple of days, that's why the kids have different clothes on.
New green leaves.

Good boy.

Sweet girl.

Pretty Azelea

I think this is an aloe vera plant, but I'm curious as to what is coming out of the middle.  I'm wondering if it's going to bloom.

So, sorry on the peach tree.  I bought two of them-one each at a different nursery.  One is doing awesome.  It even started growing little peaches, but we took them off so it can focus on growth of the tree.  Plus, Jeff said that the limbs wouldn't hold a peach right now.  The second tree-what a disappointment.  Jeff took it out of the pot to plant it and the dirt just fell off around it-the roots had been all chopped.  We looked at it today and it is dying a slow death.  It did have some new growth, but the leaves are just limp.  I need to call the nursery again and let them know it's dying.  The lady I spoke with said they'd make it right.

Enjoying his big wheel!

Kalanchoe blooms!  From the old house!

He was hiding behind the flag pole until he got distracted.  :)

Enjoyed a walk yesterday.  :)

Teeny tiny flowers on three bushes I planted.

I love this picture-with my wonderful kids.

His and Hers

Tuesdays and Saturdays Zane can have dessert, so I decided on Tuesday that I would make some chocolate cookies for Zane, special.  When he got up from his nap, I asked if he wanted a cookie.  Yes!  He started eating it, and then saw that Daddy was outside.  And all of the sudden, he was full and didn't want his cookie!  I told him he could take it outside, but no, that was no good.  We finally decided we could save it in a baggie.  :)  He definitely has interest in other things besides food like his Daddy!  That's a GOOD thing!
This girl, on the other hand, may take after me!  She's trying to shove the whole pacifier in her mouth and almost succeeded!  Silly girl!!!

Outside

Loves being on the mower.

Pretty girl still in her Sunday dress.

Zane and Daddy coming to the garden to help me.
Last Sunday we worked outside in the afternoon because it was such a pretty day and the ground had dried up just enough to plant some garden seeds.  We had a great time!

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling

In the last couple days, Rachel has been rolling all over the floor!  It is something new, so I'm working in the kitchen and think, "Oh, I need to check on her!" And I look and sure enough, she's over somewhere far away from where I put her.  It's a whole new world for her, and for me, I need to get in my mind that she's mobile!
Stuck!
But pretty happy with herself!

I wanted to get some video of Rachel rolling, but it ended up being a snuggle one. The second one, you can see her moving. I'm sorry about the fussing that's happening, but that's just the way it is sometimes!

A Girl's First Flower

Rachel's first flower was given to her by her Daddy!  Such a loving daddy and a pretty girl.
Little flower tucked behind her ear.  :)
