Pretty blooms

It is warming up a little in Texas and my flowers have really enjoyed the rains we've gotten recently.

Snapdragons-wish they lasted through the summer!
I was so excited because this morning about 7am it was 71 degrees and I thought maybe it would be warm enough to go to the beach this weekend but my husband said that there's a "cold" front coming through.  My friends from the northern states can insert a chuckle here.  :-)  Hopefully it won't get too cool though because I've planted some corn, green beans, lettuce, and peas and want them to get warm enough to sprout!

The heat and bugs got this plant last summer, but I was surprised to find it's making a comeback!  I'm so happy about that because I got it from my grandpa's funeral.  I believe the name of it is Crossandra.

Same plant that needs some TLC.

Vibrant snapdragons
These finally started blooming-didn't remember they were a multicolored pack!
