We had a beautiful day in the mountains right by Loveland Pass today! It isn't very far from our condo, maybe 10 minutes. We got out and played a long time in the snow. It was really deep in places and we would sink down in it. I had forgotten that about snow, but it used to happen alot in ND. You try to tread lightly but then whamp, down you go! :) The kids got a kick out of that. It was really a fun experience seeing the kids in amazement at the amount of snow. Their pants got soaked and so they got to ride back to town with no pants and heater running full blast!
Baby Rach got acute altitude sickness when we got back, poor thing. She seemed to perk up after and ate lunch and us girls rested and did a puzzle, while Zane and Daddy went and swam in the pool.

We went for a walk before supper and she was also doing fine, but then
started to not feel well again and went to bed before she could eat
supper. I did get her to take some tylenol, so that was good and hope
it helped her. Hopefully she will be her perky self tomorrow.
