Wow, Rachel is a year and a half today!!! Only 6 more months until we get to have a celebration for a big 2 year old!!! She is such a joy. A princess, a precious, a sugar plum, a kissable snuggly wonderful girl!!!!!!!!
She had her well check today and she grew 1 1/2 inches since the beginning of December!!! I knew her pants were getting too short. Along with some shirts. I need to clean out her closet! So, her length is 31 1/2 inches (46%), 22 lbs. 12 ounces (27%), head 18 1/8 inches (36%). She is just perfect! So healthy and happy!!!
The whole time I was taking the pictures above she was saying, 'Uh oh!', which is what she says when she wants something. In this case, please put these back together mom! Uh oh! :)
Just for fun here are a couple pictures of Zane at 18 months!
Created for family and friends since we are scattered so far apart, but still remain close at heart!

Rachel's favorite song is Old MacDonald Had a Farm. She is getting good at singing it and on the farm he always has a duck!
We have started enjoying wagon rides! Zane gives them and they also like to ride together! And Rachel gets in the wagon herself and says, "Ride!"
That's all for now folks!

Valentine's Day!
Valentine's Day was so long ago that I can hardly remember it! But it was a good one, except that Rachel had a fever. Boo! She got it Saturday afternoon and it lasted until Tuesday. But she's great now! I don't know what brings that on.
It was a Sunday and I made cute little Valentine's with Zane's class. And we came home to lasagna that Daddy and Rachel had put in the oven for us!
Here is the Valentine picture from this year:

Picnicking in Febrary!
One of the reasons that south Texas is awesome...we had a beautiful day for a picnic today! We were gone all morning to the library and Walmart and Zane wanted to play outside, but by the time we got home, it was almost lunchtime! He had been so good and I hated to break his heart, so I let them play in the garage while I quickly made sandwiches, drinks, and crackers. Then, we ate outside and of course, they thought that was the best! :) And I did to because crumbs and juice were everywhere and Oh well! haha!
This is what "cheese" in the sunshine looks like! |
Yummy, yummy! |
Haha, trying to take a bite of her sandwich! |
MMMM!!! |
I love these kids! |

Tractors!!!
I got a note from a good friend saying something was coming for Zane. It arrived today and Zane was so excited when I told him the package was for him! He said, I hope it's tractors and trailers! That's always his wish. Oh may it be tractors and trailers! Well, I knew he was going to be sooo happy today! He opened it and all his dreams finally came true!!!! There sat three red tractors and a red trailer!!! Oh boy! You can imagine his excitement. He was sooooo excited.
Come to find out, these were Mr. Terry's when he was a little boy! Thanks for sharing Mr. Terry and Mrs. Ellen!
