Fun Saturday at the Sea Center

We went to Lake Jackson on Saturday and spent the day with Grandada and Grandma Janie.  It was cold and windy!  I was glad we had indoor activities planned.  John and Jeff took a tree grafting class and Janie, the kids and I went to the awesome Sea Center!  It was so much fun and we spent over two hours there!  Both kids did so well!  I was so proud of them.  Zane and Janie hung out at the touch table for a long long time and Zane got comfortable enough that he finally touched some sea life and shells!  It was really great to watch him gain that confidence.  He also made a little friend that showed him around and identified all the fish for him!  Rachel loved being down and around when I got her out of her carrier and she was so proud of the big girl she is!  They have two tables where you can do color rubbings of the sea life and she stood on her stool so proud and happy and colored.  It was so fun to see!

At the touch tank.

Looking at the spiny sea urchin.

He enjoyed making rubbings.

The happiest girl in the Sea Center!

He was so tempted to scoop and dump the rocks!

She's loose!

Turtles!

We got home late and needed some chocolate milk!

Regular milk for Rach!

Maybe my favorite picture of the day!  :)
