Bluebonnets 2015

On Saturday we had a nice morning walk and then we got right in the car and went to Victoria Educational Gardens to take pictures with their bluebonnets.  It is such a pretty garden and the blooms were everywhere.  We really enjoyed it.
Rachel is ready!  haha!

Pretty tree in full bloom.

He wanted to do it and could by himself!

Really pretty flowers.

Zane loves the ponds.

Fish!

Chillin.

Love him!

She wanted to touch the bluebonnets!

I love this one!
The winner!  The best I got of both of them.

Misc.

Rachel has such a fun laugh. And Zane always makes her smile or laugh. I had to take two videos. I don't think I did a very good job keeping it on her face because I was trying to feed her as well.

My first picture from Zane.  He also gave me a flower he picked (from our flowerbed!) and he gave Jeff and I each a rock.  It was sweet and thoughtful.
So cute.

Zane

Zane Quotes:

Zane has become quite the backseat driver since we moved his seat to the forward facing position.  I was waving my hand around to the itsy bitsy spider as it played and he said, "Hold the wheel!"

We have a new book we read alot.  Cordoroy is a really cute book about a little bear and a little girl.  At the end of the book, the girl calls the little bear a "little rascal."  So now he calls me and Rachel "little rascal" sometimes!  "What are you doing, little rascal?"

We are off of "What's that?" and onto "Where did _________ come from?"  These are ones I've heard.  Where do cows come from?  Where do noodles come from?  Where did Grandada come from?

Pretty Afternoon

The kids and I went to the park this afternoon to enjoy some sunshine and outside play.  We went looking for bluebonnets at one park to take pictures in and saw a whole bunch of deer running as fast as they could towards the woods.  We didn't find any, so we went to our favorite park. It was so busy!
I probably need to get out more than Zane because I was slightly nervous about there being so many people, some men, but I realized that people were there as a family.  You hear so many stories of children disappearing that it got to me a little bit, so I made sure I kept an eye on Zane.  He eventually started playing with a group of kids which was really neat to see.  There was a "ticket counter" made in the playground equipment and so kids were coming up and ordering and the kids behind the counter would fill the order and the other kids would pay them money, aka, gravel.  Zane was behind the counter and busy putting gravel on the counter.  It was fun to watch and the kids seemed to be really nice.  One was an older girl that came up to Rachel and said that she had really "bright eyes!" She really liked the blue and then I heard her by Zane saying the same thing-"oooh, he has blue eyes too!" Maybe she doesn't see many blue eyed children in her class.  She was really nice.  I liked how the kids could play with the gravel and pretend so much.  It was neat.

My Zane enjoying the park.

Taking it all in

My Bright Eyes

Digging in the gravel.  He would find a sucker stick (found 2) and would put it up on the pavement.  Gross!

Glad I brought the monkey-she needed something to chew on.

My sweeties on such a pretty day.

Taking a break...

Eating Ritz crackers.  :)

House Update

We now have a master bedroom closet.  Jeff did an awesome job!!

Empty closet with all boxes, etc out.  Ready to work!

Freshly painted shelves put up.

Love the shelves behind the door.  They aren't even completely full yet!
Jeff with his helper!

Awesome closet rods!  Two for him, two for her, and one high one for my dresses.  Come to find out, I don't have many!
Shelf added!
I am so blessed to have such a handy husband!  It is really nice not to have to go out into the hallway for our clothes!

Happy 7 Months Rachel!

I can't believe Rachel is 7 months old!  Wow!  Her newest thing is blowing a raspberry just after she's taken a bite!  Food splatters everywhere and she has the biggest smile on her face.  It doesn't help that I laugh because she just does it again and again!  I tell her no-no, but I just have to laugh.  She's so cute that my heart just nearly bursts.  She rolls everywhere still and has fun playing with Zane's legos.  She's my pretty girl.
Waiting to skype with Aunt Amanda...

Zane absolutely loves his sister.  No question.

Sweet sweet

Happy kids!

Happy 7 months, Chewy!!

Best Daddy Ever For Sure

Seriously, Jeff gets the Daddy of the Year Award. I walked by the window to see him putting up an umbrella to keep the sun off Zane. That is so nice. Love my son's Dad!!!  He cares so much about us all!

He Gave Me A Song

I wish I had gotten the beginning!

I can't remember if I posted this one. So here it is again!

Rachel Videos

Pics of Kids

These cuties are doing great although Rachel has a cough right now.  Hopefully it will get better soon and she doesn't have fever, so that's great!
num, num!

Sweet morning glory!

:)

He's a great big brother!!!
Zane's talking is just hilarious.  He's talking so well.  I had him sitting on the toilet trying to go poop and he said, "It's a terrible plight."  hahahahahahaha!!!!  It was so funny.  He got "terrible plight" from a book about Jonah and I guess he decided that having to sit on the toilet was as bad as getting swallowed by a big fish!

Today for lunch I asked him if he wanted ham or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Thinking he'd choose pb and j I was surprised that he wanted ham.  So then I asked, "Do you want dijon mustard, mayonnaise on it, or plain,"  He replied, "Ketchup."  ( He didn't get ketchup.) Then, I asked him if he wanted cheese.  "Yes....actually, no, I don't want cheese."  hahahaha! He's quite the conversationalist.

My fam.

And a good family at that-I was making them watch me iron!  I wanted company!  haha!
Daddy and his princess after services

After worship on Sunday

Putting the rocks back where they belong.

It's bright, Mommy.

I wanted a picture anyway!

As you can see, it didn't turn out as well as Daddy's and Rachel's!!!  :)  :)  :)
