Check!

Jeff installed the rest of the wooden blinds in our house today!  No more sheet over Rachel's window, and they are so pretty!  We are all very happy with them and he did a great job!

Acting as a trash compactor with the old paper blinds!

Before installation

After!  Dark picture, I know.  You all just come and see them in person!

Keeping himself entertained.

A Sparkling Throne

Friday I noticed that the toilet was leaking out from the bottom.  Oh no, just what you don't want to happen.  Jeff said we couldn't use it anymore until he fixed it, so we sectioned off part of the backyard and had to go behind the bushes.  Just kidding.  Jeff, thankfully, had fixed up the bathroom in the garage, so we just used it out in the sweltering heat for a few days.  It wasn't that bad actually and I'm glad we had it instead of having to use the neighbor's or something.  Anyway, Jeff decided to fix it really good and put grout on the bottom. We got to use it on Sunday night and it's awesome!  It's rock solid and doesn't leak anymore!
Finishing touches after church last night.

It works!

It's not going anywhere ever.  I hope we never have to replace the toilet.

Latest House Project

Dada gave Zane the choice:  tile the backdoor, or put use bricks for a new pad under the garbage cans.  And Zane chose the garbage can pad!  So, Daddy set to work on his project.  He cleared the leaves, scraped and leveled the dirt, and set to work fitting the bricks in.  He even got to use his tile saw to cut some bricks! Zane even got to stay up late because he wanted to see the job done.  He was one dirty and hungry boy when he finally came in.  But it looks great, works great, and I'm personally hoping that it cuts down on our frog population.  :)

Pretty cool setup!  Fan and umbrellas!

It's like worker luxury!

Our blooming crepe myrtles!

Our shrimp plant that's doing well.

More crepe myrtles

Up close.

Watching the worker.

Hi!

Eating an icee pop right before it started pouring rain.

He thought he could finish, but no, it started raining too hard.

Next time watching the workers.

New Project

Scrape, scrape, scrape!  I have a new respect for those who work in manual labor field.  It is really hard work!  And it takes a lot of time to make good progress.  I have a ways to go, but a little at a time and it will get done!  So, maybe you will get to see a completed picture this time next year!
