Zane is at the stage where he imitates everything. It's pretty funny actually and last night during the devotional time for some reason he was pulling his pants up to his knees. "What is he doing?", I thought. I looked further down the pew and there sat a young man in his shorts. He almost always wears them but has recently started sitting on our pew. "Zane, let's pull down our pants." :)
One time we were coming home from Sargent and Zane took Rachel's purple mimi (blanket) away and she cried and screamed for a long time about that. Last night we were coming home from church and I had washed Zane's blankets and sheets yesterday but left one in the laundry room. I threw it on Rachel because I was in a hurry and didn't want to go get hers. Anyway, he noticed it coming home and asked, "Can I take my mimi away from Rachel and she will be cold?" "No, but thanks for asking, you can get it when we get home." And he didn't take it away! I was happy for that quiet ride home.
I still like how he says hangabers for hamburgers.
We made some homemade pizza Tuesday when Daddy was gone and he helped spread out his dough and put the cheese on it. But when I was doing mine and told him I was putting the cheese on, he realized that he doesn't like cheese and wanted it off his pizza. I avoided that somehow and got them cooked and then he didn't say anything more about it because it looked like right instead of raw dough and unmelted cheese. But he definitely did not want any cheese on his. :)
He still likes me teaching his Bible class. I know it won't be forever, but that's okay.
There is a song, I think the title is Beyond This Land of Parting, and the last words are oh, happy summer land of bliss. Zane sings it as oh happy Sunday morning Pray. :)
hilarious! That about the shorts is sooooo funny! Just love reading about all these things!
