House Update

It's been awhile since I blogged about the new house or anything, and during that time we've had lots of things happen!  Jeff took another week off of work to get several things done.  We needed a bathroom to be functional, and we needed to get the flooring finished.  It was a big undertaking for Jeff.  I say we and mean he, but I was cheering him on.
First pictures are of the cabinet that he painted in the bathroom.  It turned out great and we won't have to replace that cabinet.  It also shows him working on the tile in the bathroom.  He came up with a beautiful design and made it happen!  He has a great talent for laying tile and it is beautiful.

 Before you see this next picture that has the toilet in it, a story about it.  Jeff said it would take 30 minutes to put the toilet on.  It ended up taking about 6 or 7 hours because the flange broke off the pipe.  What a horrible deal.  The people that had put it in originally hadn't bolted it to the ground.  It was super frustrating for Jeff, but he got it and it is nice and snug on the floor now.

In the dining area, kitchen, laundry, back entry, and Jeff's office, we decided to put laminate flooring in.  It turned out great.  It took Jeff a long time, but he did a super job.  Grandma Janie babysat Zane for several days and it was so nice to be able to go and help Jeff or keep him company with just the immobile baby.  And Zane had a great time at Grandma's!
