House Progress

There has been more progress done on the house!  Jeff and his helper Clay worked on the electrical in the kitchen and the office.  The only thing left to be done is lighting and switches.  I have tons of outlets in the kitchen and Jeff was able to make the office with plenty of outlets for all his computers, printer, and everything else.  It's going to work great! 

In the evening Jeff worked on taking out the moldy drywall that was under the paneling only to discover that there was another setback.  The wood behind it was rotten.  But, it turns out it was an easy fix.  This afternoon, our wonderful, fast working framers came and put up three walls, installed two doors, and fixed the rotten wood!  And they were really nice and only charged Jeff for the extra lumber and not the labor.  How nice! 

Next up:  windows are in and need to be installed, and drywall needs to be fixed. 

Reused a door and installed it for the garage door.  Looks great, just needs paint!

One big room is now three rooms!  Jeff's office, a utility room (washer, dryer, freezer, storage), and my craft room!
