Our Happenings

This evening, Zane and I went to our first family devotional.  Every month a person or family hosts it for the youth and their families.  We've been invited before, but I was needing to get out of the house and I knew Zane would enjoy it.  This month, it was at a park in town.  There was a nice breeze and the park must have been sprayed for mosquitos otherwise we would have seen a lot more than we did.  Zane got to slide, slide, slide and climb the stairs over and over.  He had a great time!  It made me realize that even though he's getting bigger, he's still really really little!  The other kids were playing tag and running around with parents nearby, but not holding their hand like I was!

After we played on the playground for awhile, we went and got some water and it was time for pizza!  Yummy!  Zane loves pizza!  We set up our chairs and had a great fellowship with other Christians.  After that, we had a devotional using the illustration of a stick being balanced in your hand...you have to keep moving your hand to keep it balanced.  If you stop, it falls.  He applied that illustration to continually striving to get to our reward, heaven.

He worked really hard playing and was hot, but he cooled off just fine after some water on the face.  He sat so good in his chair.

Eating with the big boys.  He loved it.

Holding his own pizza!  Crust up!

After our devotional, we stopped by the new house and saw Dada before we went home.  Did you know that a faucet has a spigot instead of a spikot?  I always thought it was a spikot.  Well, it's not!  And we now have a new spigot for our hose outside!  :)
Going to the barn with Dada.

I think this might be a weed, but I thought it was really pretty.

Love this picture and these boys.
