Grandma came and I decided it would be a fun time to have our first visit to the zoo!!!!!! It was absolutely so much fun and so so so great!!! It was a small zoo called The Texas Zoo, but they had two tigers, two female lions, coyotes, ducks, javalinas, alligators, sheep, goats, chickens, peacocks, snakes...and other animals! If anyone wants to come and visit, we can make a visit-I will happily go again! The only thing is that I thought the lions were scary!! Zane loved them and thought they were hilarious, he even roared, but I wasn't sure that the glass and cage was lion escape proof. They even had monkeys! Zane loved watching all of the animals and my mom took some great videos. I think my favorite part was the aviary. We could buy food for 25 cents and feed peacocks, rosiate spoonbills, ducks, etc. Zane was so cute trying to feed them! He would take the food and then just set it on the ground. He wasn't afraid of anything at all either!

Here is the video of the lion. I don't know if it's because I haven't been to a zoo in forever, or what, but it was nerve wracking being that close to the lion. The video abruptly ends because while I had the video on Zane, I was looking at the lion's eyes! She seriously wanted to eat me and I was so afraid that it was going to get out of it's cage! I talked to an employee of the zoo and she said that they have had the two sisters since they were two months old and that the loose peacocks drive them crazy!
