Library Day

We went to the library today and the kids did good-no crying, trying to participate, so as a fun thing afterwards, we have started going to HEB and I let them do some Buddy Bucks.  It's a machine where they can put in a HEB Buddy buck and a wheel spins and then it gives you a sticker.  The kids love it and both machines were working today, so they got to do it at the same time, which they loved.

Rachel gets so excited to hit the button to stop the wheel.  Whap, whap, whap!  :)

Mom came down last weekend and brought me some tiny strawberry plants that I am trying to nurse back to health.  The kids were right there to help me scoop dirt into the pot.

We had to go pick up something for Daddy from Home Depot.  Just give my kids brochures while we wait and they'll be fine. 

Riveting stuff.

And then there was this nice moment yesterday where they got along and read their books together.  That makes me happy.

Jesus Loves Rachel

My littlest dear loves to sing. And we love listening to her! In the second video, I started recording because she was singing about ranger rides-a made up song by her! And sorry it's dark, we were on our way home from Bible study.

Zane's Bible Cover

I got inspired lately to make a Bible cover for Zane.  I found a great tutorial online and stayed up way too late tonight to finish.  I'm pretty happy with it, but of course there are things I wish were a little better.  I decided to call it good though because Zane won't notice and I think he'll love it!

I am excited to do another soon!

For some reason, the color isn't very good in these pictures.  The table cloth is green, like the middle picture.  Oh well!  Time for bed!

Happy 4th!

We had a great time outside in the pool today to celebrate the 4th!  Jeff was off work and it was perfect!  No hotdogs or hamburgers though.  But I did make an awesome chocolate meringue pie!

Fun Morning, Hard Workers

We were up and at 'em this Saturday and Zane and Dada did hard work getting the concrete out of the grass.  After that, relaxing and getting wet in the water!

I think I had three purple mountain laurels come up from seeds!  We separated them and they now each have their own pot. 

Jeff is letting a section of grass grow to see if anything interesting would come up.  He put this in a pot and we are excited to see what kind of tree it will be!

Birthday Boy!

We sang to Zane and he blew out his own birthday candle with just us four tonight. He also got measured! I haven't measures to see how tall he is but my he has grown!!
