Misc.

Went to the store yesterday and used my garage sale double jogging stoller.  My poor kids are going to pretend not to know me one of these days because I felt a little dorky trying to get it in the doors, but it was so awesome!  So much better than carrying one and trying to keep an eye and a hand on the other and trying to return stuff! I do believe I'll do it again!
Jeff jokes that Rachel has me wrapped around her finger, but I found out that Zane does too!  "May I have some chocolate milk, Mommom?"  Yes you may!
And lastly, she wants to sit up, but doesn't quite have the hang of it yet.  :)
"Uh, Mom, can you give me a hand, please?"

Outside!

Yesterday was a gorgeous day with a high of 83 degrees!! We went out before lunch and after naps to enjoy it. I got to digging up weeds and unwanted plants in our flowerbeds. I can't wait to get online use a virtual landscaping site I found. It will let me see how things will look before I actually plant bushes or other plants. I am going to something simple and very low maintenance!

Videos!

Rachel is so fun to go get in the morning.  She just squeals and if she could jump up and down, she would.  :)

I've been trying to get a video of Zane singing this song, and last night he did it in the bathtub!  Fine with me!  We have been singing songs to him at bedtime and this is one of them.

Christmas 2014

What a wonderful Christmas we had!  We went to Grandma Janie's and Grandada's house and were able to see lots of our family!  Great Grandma Louise even came all the way from Midland!  Christmas Eve we had traditional ham, scallopped potatoes, broccoli, corn, and bread with a delicious German chocolate cake for dessert.  Then we played a whistle game that is always fun.  Trying to get a bunch of people to play at their turn to make a song ends up being pretty funny.

Nothing better than 35 year old trucks that his daddy used to play with!

In her jammies with her crown ready for the whistle game.

There is always a song to be led! In the kitchen no less!

Uncle Dick and Miss Wild Hair!

Wonderful Mom with her boys!

Aunt Susan with Rachel in the holiday outfit she gave her!

Me and Louise!

Love them both!
The next morning/afternoon was present opening time!  We have mini quiches for whomever wants a little something for earlier breakfast and then we have a brunch break and have delicious things such as pigs in a blanket, Sticky Jeff, sausage breakfast casserole, apple coffee cake, and breakfast breads.  All are looked forward to and so delicious!  Our Christmas dinner was in the evening this year with smoked turkey, roasted turkey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, pumpkin pie, and pecan pies.  We had lots of visiting time and it was soooooo much fun!
Christmas morning!

I love these three pictures of the creek.  It is so beautiful.

One of my favorite Christmas pictures of Zane...just shows my cute, precious, sweet, loving little boy cheesing and standing for Mama.  :)
