Our Thanksgiving

With Dad's entrance into heaven earlier in November, our plans changed for Thanksgiving.  I wanted to stay with my mom, but I also thought that would be not as hard emotionally to do a non-traditional Thanksgiving.  We were all tired and didn't want to spend all day in the kitchen.  So, one day on the way to town, Mom got a spark in her voice and said, "What do you think about steaks?"  Well, we all love steaks, so steaks it was.  A little bit before lunch, the kids and Jeff were going to go on a Ranger ride, so I suggested we make sandwiches, grab Mom, and head up to the springs.  Everyone was excited for our picnic!  I don't believe I got a picture of Thanksgiving dinner, but it was a hit too and we all enjoyed it.

Tree limb in the "road."  There's our bulldozer!  :)

We all fit!

Eating a sandwich in the shade.

We even had a blanket!  How snuggly!

Little picnicers.

Our transportion.

Notice who is controlling the bag of cookies.  haha

I sure she just found a treasured rock!

My wonderful mama.

Black Friday was named appropriately enough.  We took a walk up the mountain, just me and mom.
A large tree-pinion?  Jeff now has a baby one in our nursery.

She really is wonderful.
We sang songs and prayed and cried with this view.

Love you dad!
