Rachey Video!

Rachel has started singing in her crib when she wakes up from a nap! It is wonderful! Today I got one of her just after she'd woken up. I don't know why I thought I would need to narrate it, so I'm sorry about my face at the beginning. It's not very good. ha. But the part of Rachel singing sure is! This may be one of my favorite videos of her yet!

I think she is just such a doll. She brings us so much joy!

Rachel and Zane Belting It Out

Both kids can singing really really really loud. In fact so loud that sometimes we send them into the bedroom and tell them they can sing as loud as they want in there! So I went in there and recorded some of their singing. I couldn't help it. They definitely sing with their hearts. And you get to see my pile of clothes that need ironing and jeans on the clothes rack too! Lucky you! :)

Oh this was so touching...on Sunday we had Grandma Janie and Grandada here in worship with us. Usually, I'm not sure why, but Zane just sucks his thumb while the singing is going on. Sometimes he sings softly. But not Sunday. It was his favorite song leader and his favorite song, "Lamb of God." He was singing with his whole heart. I was so blessed to hear it. It was so loud and wonderful and he was praising God! I hope he does that again soon!

Playing Outside Videos

We are trying to play outside alot while it is still so nice out.  When it gets really hot we'll still go outside, but maybe not in the heat of the day.

I love seeing Zane's play.  Whatever he sees, he imitates.  Today inside he pretended that he invited his favorite songleader over for supper.  He acted the whole thing out, even the "come in!" etc!  And recently outside, he got to watch a lawnmower and roller get stuck.  So of course, we have to get stuck too now!

Pretty Blooms

I bet you thought this post would be pictures of flower blooms, didn't you?  hee hee.  Corny, I know.  :)  But I can't help it.  I love this girl so much.  Grandma brought this outfit for her and I just thought it was perfect for her.  She is just blooming and growing!
Rachey likes to line up 'her' tractors.  She also does this with dump trucks outside!

Important business.

I asked her to show me her shirt and say cheese!

We see this often in the morning as it gets closer to lunch because she no longer takes a morning nap.

Okay-a real garden bloom for ya-and two bees working hard!

Tough Girl

Our Rachel is one tough girl. Last night while sitting outside, a yellow jacket literally dropped from the sky and landed on us. She had her arm on my lap and it sort of landed under her arm. I don't know why it dropped from the sky-Jeff said maybe it was flying and hit the barn and fell, I don't know but I dusted him away and thought that we had gotten away from being stung, but then Rachel started crying. She must have been shocked first, because she didn't cry right away and I don't even think she saw it. Anyway, she only cried for a minute, maybe less! I was able to put her arm under cold water and she quit after that. After her bath a few minutes later, it wasn't even swollen anymore!

All better and drinking some cold water!

Where she was stung.

Pretty Yard Wildflowers

Zane and Rachel love going on wagon rides and picking yard wild flowers.  That is the good thing about not having lots of grass.  We have lots of pretty flowers!

Here are two wagon ride videos taken a few weeks ago:

Bubbles

Rachel and Zane love blowing bubbles and have become pretty good at it! I hope that will help Rachel blow out her two candles on her birthday in August, but I'm thinking she might be shy and not want to do that. I could be surprised though! Anyway, I bought a big refill bubble container-maybe a gallon? and we've been refilling their little ones. Rachel and Zane spill them sometimes, but I've also spilled so I can't get too upset when they do it. :)

New Additions!

We have two new additions to our yard!  Back in February, Jeff purchased two beautiful clementine trees!  We finally got them planted and they are standing tall!  Jeff had lots of helpers and it was a fun time.  At least for us-we didn't have to dig the holes!  So, thanks, Jeff!

Rachel and Zane ride in the wheelbarrow!

Rachel falls into the tree hole at the beginning of this video, but don't worry, she's fine!
