Our Days

Pictures for you!  Apparently in a random order, but it doesn't matter!  :)

Daddy brought the best surprise home!!!! Pea pebbles!!!!!!  Oh boy!!!!!

A pendulum that Dada made for the kids for school.  The interest lasted .4 seconds because we have little rocks now!!!!!

Pretty pretty leaves we collected and made the letter J out of!  We've been talking about Jesus, but they are pretty excited that JANIE starts with J!!!!!!!  :) :) :)

I love this picture!!!!!!!

Water table turned ROCK table!!!

She's so happy with her rocks!  We have rocks everywhere!!!

Jeff literally whipped up a pendulum in about 5 minutes.  Maybe after the new of the rocks wears off we can do some more exploration with it.  I think it's pretty cool, but the rocks are still winning.  :)

Wow!!!  Check this out!!!  It's some kind of cool board that won't mold if it gets wet!  It's going to go behind the shower that Jeff's going to install!!!

Pretty pretty pretty

I just love them!!!  I have no idea why these pictures are all messed up!

"Blue is my favorite color."

Cleaning pennies with Vinegar and salt!

This was so cool!!!  The kids wrapped their presents and Rachel was bringing them in to put under the tree!

Our Christmas Tree

I thought for sure that I posted a blog on our Christmas tree this year, but as I went to do a different one, I didn't find it.  Well, we have a Christmas tree!  And have had one for ten days!  :)

We did our annual tree selecting at Lowe's and we got the best tree we've ever had!  It drinks up water every day!  And it is so green and beautiful AND isn't shedding needles!  Woohoo!  It's really beautiful.  Zane and Rachel loved decorating it, especially Zane!  I really do love this age and I hope to continue to say that about my kids.  They are alot of fun and I love seeing their excitement.

They were so excited!  And it had been raining for several days so we thought we were going to have to dry it out before we could put it up...

but nope!  Jeffy said it could come inside!!!!!!

Running like crazy while daddy put the tree in the stand.

Both of them.  Crazy.

Star on top!

I took this one!

Zane took this one.  Isn't it great?

Daddy took this one.  I love it!

Our beautiful tree!

Our Thanksgiving

With Dad's entrance into heaven earlier in November, our plans changed for Thanksgiving.  I wanted to stay with my mom, but I also thought that would be not as hard emotionally to do a non-traditional Thanksgiving.  We were all tired and didn't want to spend all day in the kitchen.  So, one day on the way to town, Mom got a spark in her voice and said, "What do you think about steaks?"  Well, we all love steaks, so steaks it was.  A little bit before lunch, the kids and Jeff were going to go on a Ranger ride, so I suggested we make sandwiches, grab Mom, and head up to the springs.  Everyone was excited for our picnic!  I don't believe I got a picture of Thanksgiving dinner, but it was a hit too and we all enjoyed it.

Tree limb in the "road."  There's our bulldozer!  :)

We all fit!

Eating a sandwich in the shade.

We even had a blanket!  How snuggly!

Little picnicers.

Our transportion.

Notice who is controlling the bag of cookies.  haha

I sure she just found a treasured rock!

My wonderful mama.

Black Friday was named appropriately enough.  We took a walk up the mountain, just me and mom.
A large tree-pinion?  Jeff now has a baby one in our nursery.

She really is wonderful.
We sang songs and prayed and cried with this view.

Love you dad!
