Memorial Day Weekend

We got to go see our family in Sargent this weekend and had a wonderful time!  It was supposed to rain all weekend, but I don't think we had any rain during the day!  We did have a big storm, but the kids didn't even wake up for it.  I was relieved of that.

Janie tried new recipes and they were all delicious.  Zane spent the majority of the time riding on the Ranger!  He had the best time watching boats, feeding deer, and checking everything out with granddada.

Happy Grandparents, and happy kids!

Jeff and I went on our third date since children to Lake Jackson!  We really appreciate grandma Janie and Granddada watching our kids.  We ate at a restraunt and Jeff had a donut burger (one whole donut on each side of a beef pattie with bacon and cheese.) and I had a french dip sandwich.  He said it was a one time try.  The fries were homemade and wonderful!  Then we split a fried cheesecake dessert!!  That is a place you can't go to very often!  :)
