Fun Times

We spent most of the morning on Saturday at the new house and Zane seemed to get a little too hot, so we solved that problem by bringing him a tub to play in in the afternoon!  We filled it up with water and walla!  A wonderful water play land!

26 weeks tomorrow!

Our Saturday

When you are getting a new house ready, your holiday weekend revolves around it instead of camping, or cooking out, or relaxing!  We were happy that Uncle T came to visit last night and was able to help Jeff out at the house.  Zane and I did our usual watering, weeding, and watching, Uncle T power washed to his hearts content, and Jeff dug up bunches of stumps and trees in the backyard with the help of a back hoe and our nice neighbor.  It has been a productive day so far!

Pretty Blooms

Zane and I went to the new house today to water the plants and turn on the sprinklers for awhile.  We were surprised by some really pretty lilies that were blooming!  They need to be thinned out because they haven't been taken care of in years, but oh, they are so pretty.  They are very tall, have pointed petals, and have multiple blooms per stem.  Any ideas as to what type of lily it is?

I think this is a Vinca.  We went through the plant dept at Walmart and I'm pretty sure on of their plants, matched ours.  Isn't it pretty?  It says it's an annual, but it seems pretty hardy to me!

25 Weeks

25 weeks yesterday. 

Zane and I got to hear our little baby girl's heartbeat today.  I think it was the shortest appointment ever.  :)  But, I get to go back in two weeks for my glucose test!

House Update!

We have a pantry!!!  Jeff and his dad worked all day long today building the pantry!!!  It's exactly like the one I have now, only opposite.  It looks great!  I love the color of the wood too!  :) 

Demolition was first!  He had to tear out the drywall first.

House Update

Things went fast on Saturday with one outside wall being rebuilt on the new house.   Jeff had already taken off the brick on that side and demolished the concrete that went up to the side door that entered the sunroom.  There is now siding up and no door!  It looks great and Jeff was really happy with the work that was done!  Next up, level the sunroom floor which is going to be Jeff's office, a utility room, and my craft room!
