Going by fast!

I have another miscellaneous post!  That's what happens when you put off blogging.  :)
This video is Zane eating pear pancakes.  He is really in love with eating them.  He just mmmm, mmmm, mmmms when he eats them.  It's funny because he does something for the first time when I'm videoing him-he puts it in his lap!  I guess he was full!!
This picture is of Zane in Hobby Lobby last week.  They have clean, new carts, so I didn't put the cart cover on.  Good thing for the strap because I think he might have climbed out!
Daddy's Little Monkey
Saturday I was busy in the kitchen and he was needing his milk.  While he can hold it, most of the time he doesn't!  Soooooo...this was the solution.  :)
Whatever works!  We were both happy!  :)
Sunday-I just have to post this again.  It rarely happens.  Usually, he falls asleep during services, and once he wakes up, he's up.  Not this time.  He slept through the invitation song, stirred when I handed him to Dad, and kept on sleeping.  He was tuckered out!
So sweet.
Today-finally caught up!  Well, Zane and I went to Mommy & Me swim class!!!  It was so great!  A friend from church gave me the information, and Jeff and I decided to go for it.  We go for two weeks, M, W, F.  I would say that there were about 10 moms with their babies.  One was itty bitty, and one was maybe 3 or 4.  I heard them talking about putting him in a different class, probably just because he was a pretty big kid.  Anyway, it was basically to teach moms how to help their kids not be scared of the water.  Some babies cried and cried and some didn't.  Zane did GREAT!  He smiled and kicked and just had a big time.  We learned how to help them float first on their back.  We supported their neck and put their head against our chest, and walked around like that.  Zane even kicked some.  Then, we put them on their tummies and had our hands under their arms and moved them like that with their chin almost in the water.  Zane also kicked some like that.  Then, we moved them to where their head was on our shoulder so that supported them and we kicked their legs for them with our hands.  After that, we flipped them from tummy position to back position-back and forth.  It really went great.  The time flew by.  Then, the last thing we did was put them under water twice!  Zane did great!  He didn't choke or cry!!  :)  I'm excited for Wednesday!
After our lesson.

Zane with his friend Briley from church.  They were tired!
Zane is turning one on Saturday.  What?!?!?!  Already one!  I am so proud of him.  I was going through pictures today and he sure has changed since he was born with that round little face!  I can't wait to post all of my pictures of his party for you all to see.  :)

Love you all!
Amy

  1. I know what he is doing with his pear pancakes--he is stashing them in the seat for later!! He can just swing by and get them during the day! Thanks for the recipe. I will try them out. Glad you got to go swimming! So glad Zane likes water. Maybe I should do something like that with Elliot, but I just do not have it in me right now. He will be a pro in 2 weeks!! Love you! AC
