This was a holiday weekend and Jeff wanted to build a project! We went and got the lumber and I went off for a day with my mom while Jeff used all his cool tools and build these awesome benches that transform into a picnic table!!! It is so cool!!!
Sanding for the finishing touch
This second project he whipped up on Sunday! We have been having a chicken saga. First we started out with four red chickens. One was eaten by a dog and so we got two baby chicks to replace that chicken. Very recently, one of the red chickens died. I'm not sure why. So we are down to two red chickens, plus the chicks that are growing and are a pretty good size. I decided that I wanted to put the chicks in the coop with the other two. While they weren't losing a ton of feathers, there was most definitely a pecking order going on and the two chicks were really allowed to leave the house. Jeff has a super heart and decided to make a more permanent separate pen for Peep Peep and Sweetie. Tonight they were happily scratching around in the grass and didn't have to worry about being chased.

The box is a little big right now for Zane to reach down into, so I put a large package of toilet paper in it first so that the toys would have something to sit on. I am so thrilled to have it and not have all the toys laid out on the floor! Tonight he gets to start putting them in his toy box before he goes to bed! :)
