January Cookout

We had a cookout early in January with Jeff's parents!  It was fun and included smores this time!
Jeff mixing mortar to secure the shower base in our bathroom he's working on.

The supervisors.

Jeff makes the best burgers ever.

Would you look at that.  :)

One relaxed eater.

Happy with his smore!

Smore-just separate and apart.  :)

Roasting marshmellows!
We had a great time and smelled of smoke when we went in.  But it was so nice and I can't wait until we can do it again!

First Cookout

December 1st brought the first cookout of the season for us.  We had a cold front come in and Jeff announced that it was time to cook hotdogs!  The kids had such a great time!  Rachel's words-"it was fun! Having a cookout!"

She couldn't get any closer to Dada.  :)
Jeff has the title of Master FireBuilder.  At least in my book.  :)

Cookout at Home!

We've had cold weather for quite some time so it was wonderful to be able to get outside on Saturday.  Jeff built a fire and we had hotdogs!  I was once again thankful we were at home and not at a campground because Rachel lost it outside and had to go in.  But I was able to go back outside, thanks to a monitor!  Zane had such a great time.  He ate a whole hotdog, sliced down the middle and two buns. (One half in each hotdog bun.)  He was a stuffed big boy! Then we ate cookies!

The first few pictures are of Zane, Rachel and I out for a little while on Friday, I think.

Definitely teething.  She has found her fingers.  :)  Now if she would just keep them in there longer!

I need to get out more and enjoy the sunsets!
