Quick Trip

A week ago Jeff was gone for three nights so on the last night he was to be gone I made a quick decision to drive to my in-laws for the night.  They were gracious enough to say okay!  They are the best, seriously and it was so nice to have some adults to talk to!  :)  Janie and I stayed up late visiting and the kids enjoyed playing with both John and Janie while we were there.  We left Thursday around 4 and got back Friday around 3!  And Jeff actually beat us back by 30 minutes!

First Haircut

Rachel got her first haircut today!! Her bangs were in her eyes and I thought they might bug her especially since she has started rolling over and sleeping on her tummy. She doesn't always wear bows and certainly not to bed so I decided she needed to have her bangs trimmed. We went outside to where Daddy and Zane were and did it in the barn. It was hard because my little owl kept turning her head to watch the goings on of Zane and Daddy! She sure does love watching them. Anyway, here is a before and after picture.
