We went back to Leakey to try and time it right for peach picking.

On our way to pick peaches!

This deer couldn't resist.  She had peach juice running out of her mouth.

And the deer got some!

Peach picker!

Definitely hot enough for a swim!

Pretty pretty mint!

The peaches were perfect.  In fact, some needed to be eating!  I decided to start slicing so I could freeze some before we went home.

Icee pop!

Time for a snack!

My "beach" picture.  haha

The pinion trees have loved the sun they have received from cutting the cedars around them.   Lots of new growth!

Back home we started the morning with peach muffins!

Happy with my big cantaloupe!

Peach upside down cake.  It's to-die-for!!!

Zane even liked it!

Nerf gun battle with Daddy!

This was so neat.  We watched a science demonstration from our public library and the kids wanted to make it too!  So we made a solar oven!  We didn't have hershey's so we used chocolate chips and little marshmellows.  Zane wasn't sure he would like a s'more.  So I said he could just have marshmellows after he tried it and if he didn't like it.  His first bite was mmmmmmmmm.

It baked for 10 minutes at 93 degrees.

Another experiement with the solar oven.  Melting crayon wax.  It worked!  We needed more shavings, but we'll get it next time.

Ive been bringing in my zinnia's for a colorful bouquet every week!

Rachey's bouquet

Tried to make English muffins.
Saturday we got the pool out.  I think our pool is seeing it's last days.  But it's been with us a long time.  :)

Trying to get a selfie with Rosie.  She did not want to cooperate.

My pride of Barbados is very pretty this year.
Jeff's birthday was Sunday!  Happy 46th Birthday Jeffy!!!!

You are always special!!!!!!!

Cool photo that Jeff took with his drone!  We don't know what this bird is.  Any ideas?
