Week at Grandma's

We spent a week, (almost) at Grandma's!  Only thing that would have made it better was if Jeff would have been with us.  We missed him, but were so glad we could spend time with Grandma D.  Zane asked several times as we were leaving to turn around and go back.  And tonight he said he wishes he was with her, but he's glad he's with Dada too.  Sweet heart.

Wow, the weather was perfect!  We spent alot of time in the water!  In one pool of knee high water, there was quite a big fish!  I'd say it was maybe 9 inches long.  Maybe 7?  But, it was very large and Grandma D thought it might be a little bass.  I had no idea actually, but it was neat to see.  The water is so clear and cold!  :)

Wednesday we decided to do a devotional at the house instead of getting out, so we did.  Zane led singing and we studied Daniel chapter 5.  Mom came up with a cool activity for afterwards where the kids painted on a wall on their paper and words appeared.  They loved it.  Zane said a wonderful prayer praising God for saving us.  He has such a good heart.

And we discovered that in some parades they throw candy!!!

On the way home we stopped by a scenic overlook that in all the times we've passed through Junction on our way to see Pa and Granny, we've never stopped at.  So we did this day after stopping at DQ!
A little shopping after the parade!

It was hot and bright!
All ready for bed!

All ready asleep!
It was alot of fun to watch the deer.  They came every morning and every evening and sometimes one or two was around during the day.

I love this picture of Rachey in the morning sun.

My pancake helper!
Two huge cedar trees had fallen down on the "road" up to the spring and our project was to remove enough of them to get the Ranger through.  Mom had already done some, but more was needed.

Mom and her awesome Jawsaw.  She definitely has a can-do spirit!!

Here we go!  Are we going to get through?

A ranger tunnel.

Made it to the spring.

New boat that floats!

Next day!  Beating the heat again!

Well, the sun actually ran us back to the house, so we had a picnic on the porch and this is after lunch parade candy!

He ate the sucker, but not the tootsie roll inside!  Silly boy.

Good night Moon!

Good Morning Sunshine!

We love you Grandma D!  Hope to get back to you soon!!!!!!!
