Magic, Vacuuming, and Ibotta!

Oh my kids are so fun.  Today we went to the library and during toddler time, the librarian did a magic trick.  She counted maracas up to five as she was putting them in a black piece of paper, and then opened it up and wow! there was the number 5 but no maracas.  I sort of smiled and thought oh my, but Zane exclaimed, how did that happen??!!  They changed into a 5!  And then he brought it up again at lunch time!  They just changed into a five, how did they do that?  It's magic!  So, maybe we can do some more tricks sometime soon.  :)

Zane is amazing.  He loves helping and growing big and strong.  He's strong enough now to vacuum and it's becoming his favorite thing to do.  Little Rachel wants to do it so badly, so I replaced the batteries in her vacuum and now she happily vacuums to checking frequently for dirt in her little tray.

 I was bugging Rachel the other day to eat her food.  Eat your food, you need to eat your food so you can get dessert-you know it's Tuesday. Eat you food, eat your food, eat your food.  She looked at me and said, "Don't worry Mama.  I can do it."  Oooooh my.  Yes indeed.

We've started going to the Dollar Tree.  What a great store!  Absolutely eveything is one dollar.  My start to going there was that they have bread-for one dollar!  I have discovered that it is close tot he expiration date so sometimes it has to be frozen, but one dollar!  Unfortunately I've been twice this week and there hasn't been any I've wanted.  But, I also discovered you can use coupons.  And a dollar off coupon means it's free!  It's amazing.  And now I'm just going to put a plug in for ibotta.  It's this amazing app that's free and you can get rebates off of stuff you buy all the time.  I've saved over $375.00, no really-it's true-, and you can to!  And if you use my referral code, I get $5.00 and you get $10.00 when you do your first brand name rebate!  My referral code is:  nogqgam

Zane LOVES to drive the cart in Dollar Tree.  It's not usually busy so I feel pretty good about it, but today, Rachel got to get a basket!!!  She was thrilled!!!  She isn't big enough to do the cart, but boy did she have the best time with her basket.  We also went to Walgreens and they each got a basket.  It's the little things in life I guess!  :)
