Small Town Parade

Zane and Rachel got to see their very first parade last Saturday and they loved it!  We went to Goliad and got a prime spot in the shade around the town square!  It was so wonderful and we all left with a happy feeling inside us.  Zane is growing up too-not too long ago, he would have been very unhappy with how loud the firetrucks were with their sirens and horns, but both kids just covered their ears and Zane said that was his favorite part!  And of course, they've been playing firetrucks and firemen since then.  It really was neat.  They also liked the big John Deere tractor with the mega wide baler on the back and the old John Deere tractor behind it.

So ready and excited for the parade to start!

There's Rachey girl!

Two of my favorite people!

I love my little boy!  He did so good!

Here they come!

Daughters of the Republic of Texas float!

Firetrucks were behind this one and it was so loud!

We had a great time!  Thanks for the outing, Dada!  And after the parade, we bought 50 cent corndogs for National Corndog day!  Yum!
