We took our spring visit to the Victoria Educational Gardens this morning. It was chilly and windy, but the kids didn't seem to notice much. I was hoping for some bluebonnet pictures, but they didn't have many like they have had other years. But they had really beautiful flowers and we got some good pictures. I bribed them with snack bags and it worked great! :) Maybe we'll go back in a few weeks to see even more blooms.
Maybe my favorite!
It's so bright.
Finally! Treats!!!!
Yum, yum, yum...No surprise, Rachel ate all hers plus some of Zane's!
They are having a sale next weekend and were busy cleaning out the pond! It was a good show!
New cacti made out of pipes and topped with birdhouses!
Grandma D came down a couple weeks ago now and we drove to Port Lavaca and went to Lighthouse Beach. It was such a nice place! They had at least three playgrounds! The only thing was the wind was h-o-w-l-i-n-g!!!!!! It is after all March on the coast. Whew! The kids didn't seem to mind except that the wind blew sand on them, stinging Zane's legs. It was also chilly for 71 degrees.
Lunch in the car so we could hang on to our sandwiches! So windy!
We had fun!
He is so BIG!
And she is fearless!
A barge in the distance!
Grandma D with Zane and Rachel!
Such a nice park! Hope we can go back when it is calmer!
Sorry some of these are literally one second long!
