Lots of Good Memories!

Today is Dad's birthday, and I've been thinking about it coming for awhile.  I knew it was going to be a hard birthday.  I'm trying to think on those things above, because Dad is beyond birthdays now.  He's no longer growing older every year.  He is praising God and we should be too.  We have so much to be thankful for.  It doesn't make it easy, but it does give a bright lining to our story.

Here are some pictures I want to share of him.  We had so many good times.  I'm sorry but some of the pictures are out of order.

We always went to a singing and wienie roast at some church members house usually Dec. 31.  It was always fun.

Building his chicken house, I believe in ND.

Home for a visit.

Visiting Denver, I think.

Waiting to put Amanda on the airplane to go back to OC.

Mom and Dad with Mom's beautiful tiger lilies.  The yard was always gorgeous in the summer.

Bow hunting carp-is that what you call it?  Looks like a storm coming.

Double rainbow!  I had to include this.  Our view growing up out the front windows in ND.  That was the Missouri river bottom.

Dad feeding Pa's goats in Leakey.

We snared a hog!  Or rather Pa did, but we took care of it!

I think I was teaching in Waco and met them down at Pa's.

Dad washing his face in the pipe he rigged up.

Visiting me in Midland.

I had written that Mom and Dad surprised Amanda and I at college and took us down to Texas.  Mom, Pa, Bobbob, and Dad.

Dad up on Pa's roof getting those pears!

Christmas home!

Working on the basement

Always had his foot propped up

Amanda off to college!

I missed turning this one, but dad loved having his feet soaked.  :)

Yep, after those pears again!
Keep the faith, stay the course!!
