Orange Juice!

Grandma Janie braved the mosquitos to pick Zane a ton of satsuma oranges.  I believe it was the best crop she had ever grown!  They were delicious.  Easy to peel and so juicy.  It has been awhile since they have been picked and we still had a bunch, so I decided to make some orange juice with my little buddy!  What a fun time!  Zane helped squeeze and ate some of the squeezed oranges, peel included!  We strained most of the pulp out and then, the taste test.  It passed with flying colors and was definitely the best orange juice I've ever drank.  Rachel even tried it.  It was her first juice ever and she drank every drop she could out of her cup.  Thanks Grandma Janie for picking those oranges and sharing them with us!

Visit from Grandma Janie and Grandada

This is several weeks old, my apologies!  I do not want to give up the blog, but it seems that it has taken a back burner and is just simmering instead of being on fire.  Sorry, peeps!

Grandma Janie graced us with her presence a couple weeks ago while Jeff was out of town.  And Grandada got to come and spend the night one of those nights!  It could not get any better, except if Jeff were home too!

My Birthday

I turned 35 last week.  And while I cried the night before, the actual day of turning that number wasn't so bad.  :)  Especially because I heard from wonderful friends, family and my wonderful close family was so nice and extra good to me!
Tuesday night we started celebrating with dinner out at Texas Roadhouse!  It was so good!  I had a filet, Jeff had ribs, Zane had a hotdog, and Rachey had bread and french fries!

Wednesday, Jeff made us all pancakes for breakfast, we opened presents at noon, and we had dominoes pizza for supper!!!  What a wonderful day!!!

Trunk or Treat 2015!!!!

We had such a fun time tonight at our congregation's trunk or treat!  And I think Zane may have had the most fun!  It is awesome seeing him come out of his shell as he grows.  Last year he wouldn't accept any candy and this year he had a full little bucket!  He wanted to eat a sucker when he got home.  He's never had one so I told him that they take a long time to eat so he would need to wait until tomorrow, but he could have some M&Ms!  He thought that was alright!  :)  He also made a great lumberjack complete with beard that I couldn't quite get off in the tub tonight!

Rachey girl was wonderful.  Due to the time change, she was eating supper when she was supposed to be going to bed, but she was a real trooper and ate her pizza bite after bite like a champ.  And she was the cutest little candy corn around!

HUGE thank you to Grandma Janie for coming tonight, joining the fun and taking Zane around!  We had the best time!
