House Update!

We have moved in and the work continues!  Jeff has made a list of things that need to be done!  I think it might be a mile long, but he's not intimidated!  He got home from McAllen and after supper set to work on installing two double towel rods, a short towel rod for hand towels, a toilet roll holder, and a new toilet tank lever.  They look great and I am really looking forward to being able to hang my towel up to dry!
A worker bee!!!  Soon, no towels will be hanging from the shower rod!

Using the template that came with the rods.
Using his awesome vacuum!

You did a great job, Jeff!  Thanks for working on this tonight!

A Happy Birthday!

It's been a very happy birthday for me today!!!  The kids were both very happy today and both did great when I took them shopping with me!  And I found three shirts that fit!  I got sung to by my mom and dad and mother-in-law and father-in-law, and my husband!  And the great thing is that Zane didn't cry during the song as he's been known to do!  Jeff made sure he didn't sing to loud and scare him.  :)  I got treated to really great pizza and I made chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing too!

After supper, Jeff worked on the bathroom towel racks and they look fantastic!  It has been a really great birthday and I am thankful to everyone for making me feel so special.  I am also thankful for facebook because even though facebook informs friends that it's my birthday, I got to hear from 60 friends from all walks of life!  It made my day even brighter!

Enjoy the pictures!
Happy eating his pb&j at lunch.  I really need to start making him different things to eat!  :)  He likes them though.

Up close.  :)

:)
The next ones are funny to me.  Zane watched while I made my cupcakes today.  I was cleaning up and he was talking about the water left in the cup and wanted to drink it.  I used to love drinking from these metal measuring cups when I was little because they were so cold when milk was in it.  So, without even thinking, I gave Zane some water from the tap.  But he said it was hot.  :)  So, I got him some from the fridge and alot of it ended up on his shirt and pants.  What was I even thinking?  He drinks from a sippy cup!  haha!  So....I gave him a towel to tuck in his shirt and tried to teach him to drink from a cup!  He did really great!

He is the cutest!

Sleep beauty in la la land.

My new turkey socks!  I love them!  Thanks Dick and Susan!

My sweetie made it home safely from McAllen!

Hanging out...

Snuggles are the best!

This boy is always singing.

Haha!!!  Hello Zane!  I was trying to get a picture with Rachel and me.  :)  But Zane makes it better.

I need to kiss those cheeks!

Someone liked his chocolate "muffin!"

My birthday meal!  Thanks Jeffy!!!

Mama and a pretty girl!
I asked Zane to say his memory verse.  We are doing one memory verse in his Bible class a month.  The one that is second is the one from October and the first one that he says is his new one for November.  I really like this video-especially the end.  :)

Cuddles and Coos

Rachel had her two month well check last week.  She is a thriving little girl!  She grew three inches to 22 1/2 inches, and weighed 11 pounds, 10 oz!  She is talking more and more and loves to give the cutest smiles!  And she also is sooo close to sleeping through the night!  She was waking up around 4 am, but last night it was 3.  Still after she eats, she goes back to sleep for another 4 or 5 hours!  It has been glorious for this Mama!

And here is Zane singing!

Back to the Library!

It has been raining here for the past day and a half and we are so happy about the rain!  I have been unpacking stuff, stuff and more stuff and still am not anywhere near done, but am making progress.  And things are starting to take shape.  Zane was talking yesterday about Miss Katie and Miss Yvonne at the library so I decided that I would try and take him today even though it was raining.  I found his light jacket and got a blanket over Rachel and off we went.  Poor Zane, he's not really good with change and there was a new lady doing his toddler time.  So, he sat in my lap and didn't participate.  But, he did get up to give back a book, get his shakey egg, and get crayons.  He did NOT like the little scarfs that the librarian pulled out.  I think they scared him because he was really close to bawling.  Poor thing.  But, we made it through and I'm sure next time he won't be scared.

The new storytime lady, Miss Joy, did a really great job.  There were many more finger plays and songs than before.  And afterwards, Zane said he had fun.

After library, we were listening to music in the car and Zane said "Zane likes this one!"  It was "We wish you a Merry Christmas!"  Yay, Christmas is coming!!!

Rachel's first time at the library!
