More November fun!

We got to have several Thanksgivings this last year.  We are so thankful we have family nearby!

We went to celebrate my birthday and early Thanksgiving with our family in Sargent.  We might just rename that weekend "Pecan Picking Weekend."  We picked so many wonderful pecans.  It was so much fun!  Everyone joined in!

This girl can eat her weight in pecans.  And then she won't be hungry for supper.  haha!

This old magnolia tree is perfect climbing for them and they love it!
Next we were home for a few days and then Zane was on Thanksgiving break, so we went to my mom's for a couple days, then back home for Thanksgiving with Jeff and Grandma D.
One of my birthday presents from Rachel.  I've always wanted one!

Look what Rachel wrote!

Zane learning multiplication from Dada!

He loves it!

Cooking with mama!
And we went to our dentist visit!  They did great!  Why wouldn't they, they were watching videos!  Except Zane-he didn't want to.

Back at Grandma D's for a few pictures.

White mist flower seeds!  I'm so excited to plant them.  I hope the chickens don't scratch them up.

Sitting in one of Opa D's favorite spots.

View Opa D would have had.  Such a pretty tree and much brighter than this picture shows.

We found "treasure" on a walk.  :)

Devo Sunday night by our fearless leader.

More crafts!

I couldn't believe it-he wanted a styrofoam ball that Grandma D and I were using for crafts.  I finally gave in and am so glad I did. He made a TIE fighter all of his own idea!  He's so creative!

Little Debbie donuts!!!  Their fave!

We found a park right outside of Leakey!  It was alot of fun!

We went Christmas tree shopping on Black Friday!!!  It's always fun especially because Mom was still here!

Guess what comes after pecan picking?  Pecan cracking!

Whew!  Lots of fun in November!

November fun!

Making lasagna for supper.  The most willing kitchen helper in the world!
On our way to see Grandma D in early November.  We traveled Friday evening and they were both snoozing going through a small town.
We had such a perfect time.  It was beautiful, cool in the mornings but warm in the afternoons.  Loved it so much!

Looking at frog eggs.

Perfect timing for monarchs that were passing through.  Come to find out, there is white mist flowers that grows up there that the butterflies love.  We got to bring some home.  :)

Art with grandma!

Mom's zinnias were feeding the butterflies!

Really hard workers.  The recent flooding made it hard to get up the road in the ranger so they had to dig another road out of the rocks.

Painting shells.

It was cold!  By the end the kids were soaked and had no pants on though.  Didn't bother them!  :)

Water seeping out of the hill.

Feeding the pretty deer.

Flying a kite!  It was such a great experience.  We both got frustrated at first but we worked through it and ended up having a great time with occasional success when the gusts would come!  It was fun!

Gorgeous panoramic view

My family is so special.

Traveling home late.  Happy with their books.
