November fun!

Making lasagna for supper.  The most willing kitchen helper in the world!
On our way to see Grandma D in early November.  We traveled Friday evening and they were both snoozing going through a small town.
We had such a perfect time.  It was beautiful, cool in the mornings but warm in the afternoons.  Loved it so much!

Looking at frog eggs.

Perfect timing for monarchs that were passing through.  Come to find out, there is white mist flowers that grows up there that the butterflies love.  We got to bring some home.  :)

Art with grandma!

Mom's zinnias were feeding the butterflies!

Really hard workers.  The recent flooding made it hard to get up the road in the ranger so they had to dig another road out of the rocks.

Painting shells.

It was cold!  By the end the kids were soaked and had no pants on though.  Didn't bother them!  :)

Water seeping out of the hill.

Feeding the pretty deer.

Flying a kite!  It was such a great experience.  We both got frustrated at first but we worked through it and ended up having a great time with occasional success when the gusts would come!  It was fun!

Gorgeous panoramic view

My family is so special.

Traveling home late.  Happy with their books.

October!

This is my favorite picture of October!!!

October was a wonderful month!  We had our first cookout of the year, got our first cool front, Zane is doing great in school, and both kids are growing like pretty blooming flowers!  We've been spending time with my mom and got to go to Sargent for Grandma Janie's birthday!  It was really fun.

Yeah, the chickens like him too.

Rachel saw her first rainbow!

Sleeping with her mountain of friends.  She loves them all.

Making something here...maybe brownies?

The chickens made such a mess scratching that Rachel just had to clean it up.
This summer the kids worked alot of memorization of scriptures and Bible facts.  They both earned a metal, certificate, and a trophy!

Watching God's show!  It's the best!

Discovered in the closet...

Zane was sick-although in this picture it doesn't look like it.  I was sorry he was sick, but I sure liked having him home!

Riding the train at Kemah Boardwalk with Grandma Janie and Grandada.

Love you two!

A restaurant that has aquariums in it!

Working on coloring a world map.

Progress and a bottom in the air!

Everyone loves books read to them.
Our first fall cookout!  It was so fun.

Grandma D had a mouth full.  haha

Good people!

Zane got a shiner from running into a boy from school.  Poor thing-he asked it if was going to be like that forever.  Thankfully not.

Beautiful Sunday evening sky

Drawing with Grandma D!

He got out of bed to make waffles!

Had to do something different to learn his words.  And he got a 100!

Learning how to make cinnamon sugar biscuits!

Love this picture!  We went to a nursery out of town and they had this set up to take pictures free of charge.  I bought a ton of healthy plants too.  Hopefully they make it through the winter.

Checking out a huge hollow in this tree.

Trunk or treat!  A tiger and Luke Skywalker.  Rachey didn't want ears or a tail.  Okay-easy it is!
