Standing!

I looked at my little boy looking out the window today and low and behold, he was standing! 

After I got done videoing him, I was wondering how he was going to get back down.  He didn't have a problem though-he used the couch a little bit and then just sat down!  Yay!

Choosing a Book

I videoed Zane choosing a book yesterday!  We hadn't read Pat the Bunny in a long time and after I finished, we read it together.  He liked it a lot! 

10 Months Old

Oh these month birthdays come too often.  I am loving the stage that Zane is in.  I love love love that he can crawl over when he wants me, tug on my pants, or rub his face against my leg.  It is just so sweet and wonderful.  He brings us a lot of joy!  I love hearing his voice when he's singing in the car, or talking to his Daddy.  He is so good at blowing raspberries and loves playing peek-a-boo.  :)  Thank you God for Zane!

Jeff built a fort for Zane Saturday afternoon.  He is a little too little to enjoy it fully, but he did go through it a couple of times.  :)

I took some pictures of Zane after his bath in Midland one night.  We were so blessed to stay with a young couple in Midland while we were there for a couple nights.  They were so welcoming and sincere about us making ourselves at home.  We really appreciate their hospitality.

It was indeed a sad occasion of why we went to Midland this last time, but I still took some pictures because we still had smiles.  I'm glad I did.  We got to spend time with family and grow closer together!

I really love Zane being able to crawl.  He is everywhere I am almost!  So yesterday I was making enchiladas and here he came.  So, I decided to give him something to bang around with!  It kept him busy almost the whole time I was putting the enchiladas together! :-)  I love this little guy!

He's Waving!

In development news, our Zane has started waving!  It's the cutest thing.  While we were in Midland, he started waving at his Granddad and we sort of thought it was just a coincidence, but nope!  I actually forgot about it, until his Grandma Janie started waving at him in Bartlesville.  He waved back!  Here is a video of him waving while he's crawling!  :-)

Lost Maples Camping Trip!

We went camping to Lost Maples State Park at the beginning of April!  We had a wonderful time.  I loved Jeff being off work for a few days, going to church in Utopia, eating the ultimate s'more (with half a hershey bar!!!), and hiking around with my two best buddies!  It was a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time!!!
